Re: perioral dermatitis

I have had PD for 4 years now. It can be soooooo embarrassing. I have tried everything it seems like. (Dermatologist Rocesa/Eczema prescription creams, Switching to Sulfate free Shampoos, Soap Free Soap Bars, Apple Cider Vinegar, Greek Yogurt, Fungal Creams, Hand Sanitizer, Expensive eczema lotions and cleaners, light therapy…) My doctor was even stumped.
My face was rashy and peeling until about 2 weeks ago. I have been rash free for 2 1/2 weeks now it is so amazing. I tried for the hell of it because of the zinc in it Walgreens Poison Ivy Spray. I spray it on a tissue and wipe it on my face 2 times a day and then moisturize with Dial NutriSkin Replenshing lotion BioNutrient Complex. This lotion does not break my skin out and makes my face feel amazingly soft. At first the spray did burn a little. My face cleared up within 2 days after putting the Poison Ivy Spray on. I haven’t had one single pimple since I have been applying 2 times daily.
I have also been taking Probiotic pills from Dollar General everyday the last 2 weeks and washing my face with Avalon shampoo, it is Organic and Sulfate Free.
I hope this helps someone else. I know how embarrassing, frustrating and expensive it is dealing with this skin issue. Please try it. I got the spray on clearance for $6.00 Regular $15.00.
