My update: bacteria found in swabs

My derm took some swabs two weeks ago. Unfortunately, the one that was done on the lips also went inside my mouth (to the inside of the lips, in front of my teeth), so I'm not sure how much of the bacteria that was found was actually on the lips themselves (maybe she'll do another swab just on the lips alone). Well, they found a "substantial amount" of "Klebsiella oxytoca" in the lip/mouth swap. Also, they found "moderate amounts" of "Klebsiella pneumoniae" and "sporadic" "gram-positive coccus" under my armpit.

I don't know if my derm really knows what to do about it. She sent me the reports via mail and put a prescription for a systemic Antibiotic into the envelope as well, asking me to take that for 10 days.

Not quite sure about that. She won't be back until the 20th.. I will probably wait until then. If I really have bacterial skin infections, I would like to approach it the correct / best way possible. I've read of many people getting a systemic Antibiotic together with a local Antibiotic treatment. And I'll also want to use some good probiotics while doing so, I guess.

Also, my case really isn't totally limited to the lips. The skin around my lips started flaking somewhat a few weeks or months after the EC started. Over the last couple of days though, the skin above my top lip seems to be getting worse. It's somewhat red, somewhat swollen and it burns. It does crust on some parts as well... Can't catch a break, I guess. :)
