Hurricane Sandy Victims

After Katrina, a few friends and I began "adopting hurricane victims." A name and address was given to a person and he/she sent a care package.........nothing expensive....nothing fancy..... But, it meant the world to the people who received these packages. We also helped in this way during a couple of tornadoes. I have a good friend in New Jersey and he has told me about a 21 year old friend of his who lost her Dad during Sandy. Below, you can read her story. (People there are trying to raise money for them) If you would be interested in sending her a care package, a card, etc., either post below or send me a message. I will be glad to send you her address.......(right now she doesn't have one)

Hurricane Sandy has affected countless people in the Staten Island area. For those of you who know the Montalto family, they have suffered an immeasurable loss. In addition to losing their home and all of their worldly possessions, Angela, Nicole and Ashley must say goodbye to their beloved father, Lenny. Lenny Montalto was a great man, and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He perfectly exemplified what a caring and hardworking father should be. With that said, now more than ever, his 3 surviving daughters are in need of help and support through this difficult time. Thank you for any donations you can contribute. They will help the girls tremendously and honor the father that loved them so much. All proceeds will be donated to the family at the close of this campaign.
