Re: Stressing over pap test!

Thanks for the encouragement, Blistering Faith. When this whole nightmare started a year ago the first thing I suspected was candida due to a few recurrent yeast infections. I immediately threw myself into the MOST RIGID candida diet, cold turkey. I experienced the most horrible detox reaction for a month straight. I had a rash that covered my entire body. I felt like I was on fire for a week straight. All I ate was chicken, eggs, leafy greens, and green beans for about 6 months along with a ton of coconut oil, raw garlic, and various other antifungals and mega doses of probiotics. I was even doing ACV and EVCO enemas (2 a day for a month), getting 2 colonics a month, and shoving garlic in every orifice that I possibly could LOL.

I thought I would have been feeling better, but in fact I kept getting sicker and sicker. But I kept pushing forward, attributing it all to '"die off". Turns out that it wasn't die off, but it was me crashing my poor adrenals over and over with the take no prisoners detox I was doing. I finally quit taking the anti fungals and probiotics and incorporated brown rice and carrots back into my diet. This made me feel much better. Now I even allow myself the occasional 1/2 of an apple, or 1/2 of a small sweet potato.

I know the candida is not gone. When I first went on NB they told me that it would not go away as long as I am imbalanced and that all the candida destroying tactics were just throwing my body into even more of an imbalance.

I'm going to take care of the local infection, but I am super paranoid to try and take any more candida killers and risk another serious crash.

But if you do find any gentle new anti fungals, please let me know!
