I am glad your daughter is doing better. I had my Mirena for almost 2 years before that I had a paragaurd the copper IUD and no issues with that one but my gyno talked me into the Mirena because it was suposed to be better. I should have stuck with what I new worked for me. Lesson learned the hard way. Well here are the symptoms I had with Mirena

Heart palps
anxiety
depression
numbness arms legs and back
super greasy hair with white balls
acne
Bleeding non stop for 6 month after incertion
brain fog
memory loss
eye floaters
extreme leg pain
weight gain
high cpk levels

The symptoms I now have are anxiety sometimes but not as often.
memory loss (the doc says its due to the brain lesions I now have) they do not know what they are from.
eye floaters not all the time.

That is all I can think of at the moment.

I had gone to many doctors tring to figure out what was going on with me and had many many painful tests throughout this whole ordeal and it wasnt until I happened to stumble across this forum before I even had a clue that my Mirena might be the cause. When I started to read people posts it was like reading my medical history. I cryed and was releived and mad all at the same time. Not one of my docs will even today say that it could possibly have been the Mirena. However I know it was. I am so glad that I found all you women. I am so sorry that we have all had to go though this but thankful that together maybe we can help someone else.
