Re: Edema in ankles/lower legs

> Hi, could anyone please advise the quickest remedy for reliving or removing edema or fluid retention in the ankles and lower legs

Hi,

Edema is fluid retention. It usually appears at around the ankles, in the lower legs.

However, the edema is just a symptom. It is a symptom of something more serious; and you shouldn't concentrate on trying to treat any of your symptoms. For example by trying garlic water, cayenne pepper, watermelon, serrapeptase, sea salt and/or OTC drugs.

I suggest you look for your underlying issues/problems.

In my experience Wikipedia, the Mayo Health Clinic and many others are usually not much help because they distract you, and because they want to treat your symptoms, without addressing any of your underlying issues/problems.

Unless you have a chronic illness and are very sick -- which is rare, because most people are pretty healthy -- usually the underlying problem is something simple; and it is usually easy to eliminate the underlying problem(s).

If you have an edema, it is a sign that you put something into your body that your body considers a poison. And, if your body cannot eliminate the offending food, drug, or chemical, then it will try to dilute it.

This is how you get the edema.

So, now what do you do now? In your own interest you want to search for the underlying problem(s) that trigger your edema.

And, what is the underlying problem? Without knowing you and your lifestyle, here at CureZone no one will be able to give you the specific answer you're looking for.

However, you can play a health detective, in the interest of your own health.

The answer you're looking for can be as simple as the name of a specific food/drink/drug you keep eating/drinking/taking.

You keep eating/drinking it because it tastes good. Or because you erroneously believe it is good for you. But, at the same time, you keep ignoring the fact that your body considers it a poison.

And that is the problem. Unintentionally you create problems for yourself, and then you wonder why you have an edema and/or some other symptom.

FYI, on the subject of playing a health detective there is a great article at

I hope this helps.
