Re: Iodine Man~!

Well, I don't know what sort of response the original article elicited. We're certainly suffering from information overload these days, so perhaps an article on Iodine deficiency did not cause much of a stir. The take-home point of Iodine man though, IS the power of the media, focused towards children.

The funny thing though is that Iodine was very much on everyone's mind in the earlier part of the last century... Iodized salt ads, advertisements for iodized breads, iodized gum, iodine supplements to build muscle.

Dr William Brady had a long-running syndicated health column in which he stressed the importance of the "iodin ration". I've gotten my hands on a book of his in which he discusses the importance of iodine. coming soon to a blog near you:)

And yes, I think that iodine man would "win" as well:)
