Candida and Inflammation


Inflammation is a co-factor in many diseases, if not all of them, which is another reason why the list of candida infections is so long. As candida continues to spread, it creates greater cell and tissue damage leading to greater levels of inflammation, which then helps to support the further spread of candida. Candida can manipulate how our immune system responds, and determines which bacteria grow back after being wiped out by antibiotics. It is an amazing organism in how it can survive in anywhere in the body and manipulate the environment to support its continued existence.
