Tumor on spleen

My 8 yrs old golden retriever has been diagnosed with a tumor on the spleen. He is losing weight and has some liquid building up in his abdomen. 3 weeks ago I started giving him Essiac caps and TruPine (from Essiac). He is on a raw organic diet mainly wild meat, organic chicken and fish. I give him 1 tsp of turmeric - 1/2 tsp ginger - 1/4 peppercorn on a daily basis to help shrink the tumor. Is there anything else I could give him to help? I read about Paw-paw cell reg, does anyone know about its effectiveness on dogs? How can I help him get rid of the fluid in his abdomen (without having to puncture him, which I think is not the best solution as it's not a natural way)?
