Re: White coating on tongue

Funny, I just posted this in the Candida forum today -
I have been working on my health for 3 years, I have used a lot of natural things that worked but I had never had any luck getting rid of the white coating. A couple of months ago my acupunturist/herbalist gave me some chinese pills (the bottle only cost him $1.50) to help with my digestion. Within two weeks, the coating was gone! The bad news about this is that the herb mixture in these pills includes a fungus. (This is why I am no longer working with this guy, he knew I would have never taken the pills, so he ommitted this little detail.) He said these pills were getting harder to come by and then he had to pay $7 because one of the herbs is no longer available. Anyway I thought someone might want to contact a herbalist and have their own mixture prepared without the fungus. (This is what I am going to do.) I could tell that something was bothering my liver (but I thought it was detox)and as soon as I quit the pills, it stopped. The good thing is that the white coating is still gone.
This is the name of the pills - aplotaxis amomum pills ($7 bottle, I don't have the name of the $1.50 bottle)
Ingredients:
BAI ZHU
FU LING
DANG SHEN
BAN XIA
CHEN PI
SHA REN
MU XIANG
CAN CAO or GAN CAO
DA ZAO
SHENG JIANG
I am not sure which one is the fungus.

He also gave me one for my immune system (with fungus). I am also going to be getting this mixed without the fungus. This actually helped me a lot with my energy, the only problem is that because I started the acupuncture at the same time, I am not sure how much of the energy was due to the pills and how much to the acupuncture, but immediately I no longer needed daily naps. The name of these pills is Bu Zhong Yi Qi Wan.
