Yeastie Beasties having a field day, advice, please.

I have 11 Amalgam fillings, and am saving up for Amalgam replacement dentistry.
I have type 1 diabetes and have pinpointed vitamin D3 and mineral deficiency as the reason for intermittent, acute insomnia at the different seasons of my life. Both the Amalgams and vit D deficiency have contributed to the onset of my inability to produce insulin.

Right now here's what my supplementing looks like:
* vitamin D 5000 iu intermittently (every other day right now)
* magnesium citrate 200 mg daily
* multivitamin with chlorella and Herbs (ask, and I shall write down the mineral and vitamin dosages)
* vitamin C frequently (sodium ascorbate in a Water suspension sipped in small droplets two times a day, approx 2,000 mg/day)
* Alpha-Liopic acid in a low dose in my homemade jams
* N-acetyl-cystiene in a bubbling-tablet form in water, never above 50mg/day (new)
* Hass avacados for snacking 1-2 times a week
* Probiotic yogurt (lactobacillius casei f19, lactobacillis acidophilis la-5, bifidobacterium lactis bb-12, and S. termophilus) (cuture names are in danish, but recognizeable)

Available in my supplements drawer is:
*b-100 complex (unfortunately bearing cyanocobalamin >:o )
*Selenium 200mg tablets that can be broken into four pieces
*Nordic fish oil capsules with vit E

My prescriptions are:
* Citralopam 20mg
* Eltroxin 100 mcg

I'm watching carefully for the expiration dates on those. Selenium has given me motion sickness when I first tried an upped dose, so I am alert for keeping my mineral doses balanced.

My diet consists pretty much of non-pork meats, mackerel (shoreline fish from a non-polluted area), poultry, cracked-kernel grain breads that are low on wheat (they're rye-wild here), whole-grain pasta (when I feel like it), fruit and berries, dairy products (I have intermittent access to unpasturized and unhomogenized stuff), and a good deal of veg.

I'm regretting a whipped-cream indulgence from the bakery in the form of a bit of Acne right now, but meh. What can you do? Hubby wants to keep my food habits, but it's bad to walk him past the bakery. ;)

AAAAAaanyways. Whenever my bloodsugar is up for a while (like in not knowing how to bolus my insulin for last night's ratatoille), and I bolus with insulin to correct the high bloodsugar, I burp, and I burp, and I percolate until my gut is content again. Faaaaaark, that's a lot of annoying yeast!

I used to have frequent yeast infections below the belt, but it stopped in a big way once I started using D3 and magnesium.

Even D3 and magnesium alone though gave me free-floating Mercury toxicity symptoms in personality, forgetfulness and sudden mood swings of tearfulness though. Since then I have been very cautious with the magnesium, but it's halted insomnia issues in it's tracks with the D3.

I am still.. a good bit brainfoggy and my gut deals with a lot of gas-producing bacteria. The yogurt is my way of trying to minimize this issue, though there may be some adjustments I need to do to help the issue while I am yet be-amalgamm'd.

I am considering supplemental Iodine because of the hypothyroid issue. This too requires caution because of how it will interact with my prescription medication, so kelp may be my best course of action.

Discussion and advice is appreciated, -JPH
