Looking good, Daniel. I noticed you're touching your lips and licking them occasionally. I hope you are doing so intentionally and not out of habit. I think it's very easy to pass bacteria and fungi from our hands to our lips -- I used to be a chronic nail-biter and even bit my toenails if you can believe. Now the saliva thing is another story -- I haven't licked my lips in probably 4 years, as much as I want to, but maybe it's really a question of what's in your saliva -- bacteria or enzymes that help or hinder healing.

Have you had much redness/inflammation/pain since when your crusts first came off? More so or less so than in the past? That right side of your lip looked painful. Another big question is no pain, no gain? I.e., with pain, is their progress, as the skin is alive? My crusts over the years have been much more "stuck" onto the epidermis, but generally I don't feel much pain if I wait until they're "ready" to come off. It's when I wait too long, and the crust ends up stuck to a forming layer, that I've experienced pain removing it. So many Catch-22s to deal with!
