Camphor Cure for Hemmy's

My health store recommended a cure for internal and external hemmy's using Camphor oil.
I bought NOW essential oils brand of 100% pure camphor oil.
They said to lie flat in the bed using no pillow and put one drop of the oil on the belly button. Lie flat for 30 minuites and then wipe the oil off with a tissue.
He said the hemmys inside and outside will be gone with one treatment like this.
I have very large internal and external hemmy's. Difficulty passing stool causing them to be thin because of the internal swelling. After my colonoscopy I was advised by my GI to see a surgeon which I am terrified of doing.
I did this Camphor treatment two nights ago and I see a reduction of the external ones, though they are not gone altogether and I can't tell about the internal ones but I have to say I have not felt that sensation like I have something constantly up my butt since I did it. I do feel an overall relief of the feeling of swelling.

I am thinking of trying it a second time.

Has anyone else heard of this Camphor oil treatment?

If this does not work, I am searching for a Dr in my area who is certified to do a procedure my 91 yo mom had done in Az. It is called THD ( Transanal Hemorrhoidal Dearterialization )... It is done as a same day surgery and she was back to everything as usual by the very next day! I have 4 Dr's certified in my area to do it but none have actually done the proceedure on a pt yet and I don't want to be their first. There are youtube videos about it too. This looks to be the most promising procedure yet. My mom had no discomfort , no down time from the next day on, and no problem or pain having BM's post procedure!
Has anyone else had THD done and what was the experience for you?
