No. Actinic keratosis is a stage of skin cancer. I have EC, and have had a biopsy taken of the worst part. The pathologists found no indication of sun damage or hallmark signs that the sun may have caused carcignogenic changes to my cells.

Furthermore, on the outside our condition looks very different from this dangerous skin disease.
