I can't imagine how that hurt to hear that from your pastor. Good for you for leaving! I left the church I was married in several years ago after abusive treatment. On one instance my sister asked for prayer for me at church when I was really sick. Afterwards the pastor's wife who had already done plenty to make me want to leave there, came up and said in the most sarcastic way ever, "So do you think you're going to live?"

I don't know what's wrong with some people in the church. I know I'm ready for Christ to return though. I know there are truly loving churches out there, but they can be really hard to find.

I've read many of your past posts Hopinso, and have prayed for you and wondered where you were. Your life has been so hard, but that's going to make your eternal reward with Jesus and that glorified body you're going to get all the sweeter!
