Hi I have joined this forum to help with my research into magnesium. I am not a professional or product salesman and have no vested interest in any products or programmes. I am currently undertaking a horse nutrition course and for my own personal interest in using magnesium I would like to understand and learn more.
I am currently researching the bioavaiability of magnesium oxide and magnesium chloride. Any advice as to where might find previous posts etc here would be helpful or if you can offer advice about the process of converting magnesium oxide into chloride salts in the stomach that would be great.
I wanted to try and find out how much magnesium is produced following the oxide and hydrochloric acid combination in the stomach? Also with reduced concentration of acid does the production of magnesium decrease, as in older people.
