Can someone help me to understand what is going on?

So, the last post I wrote was about my deteriorating gum health. I stopped Iodine and supplements because of it even though I had been getting good results with iodine.

Few days ago, I got a flu and I got 4 boils on my face. I never have gotten a boil in my life as long as I can remember. I got really sick at first with the unexpected flu but in 2 days, I am 95% recovered with the boils also going away. I also had like what felt like a pull in my hamstring on one side with radiating pain down the leg that I couldn't sleep for 2 days but it has gone away already. Prior to the flu, I had constant sore/tight throat and mucus in my throat. After the flu, all the mucus is coming out of my nose and my throat hasn't been hurting at all. Even though I look horrible with the boils, the fact that my throat is better is so much comfort to me. What is still bothering me are the condition of my gums as I would like to start with the Iodine again once this clears.

Anyhow, either all of this are detox symptoms or I believe that my immune system has severely been weakened and this is the cause of my deteriorating gums as well. What is strange is how fast I am recovering from the flu and the "muscle pull."

Does anyone have any educated guesses on what is going on? I think it is the Iodine that has "instigated" these issues as I never had prior gum health issues nor gotten sick like this (i.e., flu) in years. I haven't changed anything in my lifestyle except adopting a better diet (went from fast food to natural foods about 8 weeks ago). Tweet
