If you're not ever going to game/high performance, then a Celeron CPU would work too, like a G530. Lower wattage usually produces best results for your needs with minimal cooling of CPU. An I5 2500k Intel processor is pretty futureproof though.
New-egg used to have good deals, sometimes they still do, but I've found Micro-center to be better deals all around for PC parts. I won't list the sites, they're easy to find.
I'm still experimenting with grounding, haven't been able to properly measure body voltage around electronics/wiring.
