Everyone, just chill a little. I know tempers can flair up easy around here since we are all chronically sick, or were and feeling passionate and yet frustrated in helping others heal from what we had. So much opposing theories and information out there makes it very frustrating at times.

I have to say, I was on the low carb/high protein diet before I got sick. I realize now I was eating high fat too, even though it was the "good" fat.

This diet gave me toxic hunger symptoms that I thought was really bad hypoglycemic symptoms. It didn't help when most of the doctors I saw misdiagnosed me with hypoglycemia too.

Then the supposed solution for what we thought was hypoglycemia was to eat MORE MEAT AND FAT!!! It was years of me doing this wondering why isn't this diet or any supplements or treatments for this working? It was because I was on the wrong diet that gave my symptoms that mimicked something else. Now from all these years of eating so much meat and fat, I too have fatty liver and I can feel the sensations from it in my right lower right/upper abdomen area too.

Luckily I was told about Toxic Hunger from a friend and my horrible hypoglycemic-like symptoms went away in a matter of days after doing a veggie juice fast.

No one is say all fat is bad, but no one is saying just eat potatoes either. If you have a fatter liver and candida overgrowth, it looks like the best logic is to cut down on animal protein and/or fats temporarily and remove all processed fats like oils. If you want to try a liver cleanse, choose the master lemon/cayenne/maple syrup cleanse instead of the heavy oil and fruit Sugar gall cleanse.

As some espousing the low fat diet and seem to recommend eating a base of healthy starches, I actually would recommend eating mostly greens. I've been reading the research of Victoria Boutenko, creator of the "green smoothie" (blending greens and fruits together). I've been adding the green smoothies in my diet for the last couple of days and my blood Sugar isn't spiking or crashing and I'm eating more greens than I ever have.

Basically what we are saying is if you've been doing the path you're on for a while and it's not working, you need to choose a different path. Look how many people search for the magic supplements or cleanse to no avail.
