I know smoothman, I am just glad you had a remedy of extra oil on hand.
I would say shower shower and shower to water flush the ear. That is good to know if the olive oil absorbed and diluted the other oil. We are all learning new things, antidotes and remedies here on cz.

When your in pain it is a blessing to find someone whose "been there" and knows the remedy, antidote or cure and can lead you out of pain into a healing and a cure.
