i dont think ec is contagious in fact there are a few people that hook up with there girl friends all the time that live with ec like chris juno.

i was hooking it with my misses like crazy when i had ec. and was using creams and she never had a problem. so yeah and also daniel miller says he hooked with heaps of girls while he use to peel his lips.
