2 baby bath tub (I dont have access to those fancy basins used specifically for sitz bath)
OK

7 guava leaves and lemon grass (in the Philippines this is used for post partum wash)
SURE
- boiled in a pot of water
OK

1/4 cup epsom salt
OK

1st baby bath tub - poured half of boiled water with guava leaves and lemon grass then added enough water to fill the tub about 6 - 8 inches
OK

2nd baby bath tub - tap water 6 inches deep
OK

2 liters of ice cold water
OK

I dont have a thermometer-- so just used my elbow to gauge the temperature
2 blankets
a timer

basically- I just used whatever I have now - instead of waiting till I get all the ideal tools.. better to start with something than none at all

Soaked my bum (water is up to the navel when I sat onto it) on the hot water bath for 30 minutes (slowly pouring the other half of the boiled water into the tub. I was covered by a blanket while doing this.
WILD, HOPE YOU TOOK PICTURE FOR YOUR SCRAP BOOK!

Its quite relaxing...but never got into reading my book, as I was too busy pouring the boiled water slowly...
THE BOILING WATER PART IS SCARY....AMISH HERE IN AMERICA BURN THEIR CHILDREN WITH BOILING WATER SO MUCH, IT IS UNREAL......DEALING WITH SUCH WATER IS VERY DANGEROUS.

After that I poured 2 liters of ice cold water into the other tub.. and dunked my bottom into it and tried to soak for another 6 minutes.
OK, CAN'T HELP BUT SMILE, BUT LETS GO ON...

gave myself a sponge bath. watched TV with daughter for anout 20 minutes..

went out to walk dog (slow pace) for 20 minutes).. then walked on grass/gravel for another 20 minutes.

had a nice formed bowel movement just before I retired for bed last night.

TAKE A 1 HOUR LONG WARM BATH OR SHOWER OF THE ENTIRE BODY
101 DEGREES MOST IDEAL TEMPT.

THIS HELPS THE BODY LIQUIFY THE THICK LYMPH FLUIDS AND GET THEM CIRCULATING..

THEN YOUR COLD BUM BATH FOR 15 MINUTES AT ABOUT 55 DEGREES COLD IS MOST IDEAL..

WHAT YOU DID WAS MORE LIKE WHAT THEY CALLED A HIP BATH.

EITHER WAY, YOU IMPROVED CIRCULATION.
