I have to disagree with at least part of this. Longterm posts quite regularly that he IS getting tested for all sorts of different things. So saying that he never makes a move to get tested is quite inaccurate.

Also, testing takes awhile, to schedule the test, to go to the doctor or lab, to get the results. I understand you are impatient to find the cure for EC, but testing takes time. Also, trying out new topicals, or drugs, or other ideas (moisturize, don't moisturize, whatever), also takes time to show results. It is very rare for a change to happen in a couple days.

At least longterm is trying to find an answer to this problem, trying to find a new approach. I commend him for making the effort to look into possible causes that have not already been investigated. If the solution was obvious, all of you would already be cured. Tweet
