In The Clear?

Dictyostelium Discoideum.
"It is able to move, possibly by the streaming of mucilage along the surface. When it comes to rest on a suitable surface(even under our skin & scalp!) it gives rise to filaments".

Filaments like this red and white algae that runs through, what I believe is a colony of this clear slime mold:

Looking at the big picture it looks like a nearly invisible lichen maybe?

Invisible until I use a borax shampoo that dislodges it and it's little friends. The shampoo is good for getting them out but doesn't seem to keep them from reproducing. !

Here's a site with some info and videos showing how this dictyostelium discoideum organism operates. It comes together from small cells into one big slug-like organism.
