Re: all about durian in Singapore
if you have a nose, the nose knows....
i suggest the only reason anyone on earth was able to sell such a fruit was first someone created some words on paper saying how wonderful it would be "if" you would buy this for $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$, pretty much the same that has to happen for mos of what we buy via words making things seem wonderful....
durian is hard to collect, harder to open up, has no real taste appeal and starts to stink fast and rotten by the next morning.....
it comes from a tree, otherwise i doubt human children eat it in history unless it was the only fruit available.....
i would take 1 orange over having 100 durian, unless i had a market to sell them and no one would buy them unless i had papers explaining how wonderful the fruit is for health.
"education" good or bad creates the market.....if it were not for the creation of letters............because in nature we would eat what taste good and everything else would go to the monkies that can climb those trees, collect those coconuts, durian, etc...
