There is such broad spectrum of thought on what foods are appropriate for people with candida. It seems to be either zero carb or a raw food, vegan diet and nothing in between. Does anyone have personal experience with either type of diet and was it a positive change for you (or not)? I feel terrible on low-carb diets but I can't tell if it's because it's bad for me or because I'm getting die-off. I have to admit that the only "food" that makes me feel better is green smoothies made with very little fruit. I have graves disease which involves my thyroid being overactive so I'm definitely not looking to lose any weight as I'm already underweight. I also tend to get low blood Sugar if I go too long between meals. I'm just very confused about diet. If I could figure out the right way to eat I would happily do it.
