That's okay with the protein since the diet is short term (not over 2 months). I am only going to do it for 2 weeks because I do not want to lose lots of weight. If you get enough calories, it will protect your body protein. After the diet you gradually add solid foods back and continue juicing to supplement food.


"Juice diets provide greater nutrition (it is a little different than basic liquid diet). This diet involves drinking liquefied versions of a lot of vegetables and some fruits. Choosing a variety of fruits and vegetables will increase your nutrition quotient. Citrus fruit and berries contain vitamin C and may also boost your metabolism. Broccoli may also enhance your immune system. Green vegetables and sweet potatoes provide high levels of antioxidants."

Just watch the movie and see how Joe Cross did because whatever he did worked to get rid of his skin ailments. I am hoping 2 weeks will work for us since our whole body is not inflicted with skin ailment.
