Bartholic Cyst Drainage: After

Just the other day I went to my gynecologist to get my Bartholin Cyst drained, she placed a word catheter inside where she made the incision.
I asked her what I am supposed to or should do after the operation... she said I can continue my regular day but it made no sense to me...
I have been trying to find information but I can't seem too.

Has anyone here got their bartholin cyst drained and was told what you are supposed to or not supposed to do afterwards?

It is very uncorfotable ...and I read stuff where it said you should eat soft food so it will make it easier on taking a #2 so it doesn't hurt the affected area?

I am nervous and I need some advice!
