GI Gurdjieff said negative emotions feed the moon and positive emotions feed the sun. Do you think he had it backwards?

Something is hungering for negative emotion as there is a squeeze on for to make them pop out.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions.
Tantric wisdom says negativity is required to maintain balance.
I have already banked on the juxtaposition of these two concepts being heaven.
