Mirena removal,heavy bleeding.

I had my mirena aka "devil inside" removed last wed.Immediately after I felt sooo much better.I had been experiencing so many of the symptoms listed in this forum.Back pain, headaches,fatique,sweating,odor,vaginal and body.No sex drive,weight gain.By far the worst was dry eyes and floaters and other vision problems.I went to my general practioner,eye specialist and a neurologist.Had an MRI done.I explain to all the Drs I had suspected it may be the Mirena.All told me Mirena had nothing to do with my symptoms.MRI checked out normal.I couldnt get any answers.
Im 37 yrs old very active.I have 2 kids,yes just 2 and my husband and I think our family is happy and complete we just werent ready to make any major commitments yet so I opted for Mirena about a year ago.The first month was hell.So much back discomfort than by month 3 everything seemed ok and than I loved it for about 6 mths.Well the last 3 mths up until last Wed.had been hell.I had noticed weight gain but it really came on these last 3 mths.More like a bloating around middle.Mood swings, unable to concentrate and the most obvious sign was how huge my breast were.I looked like I was breast feeding.It had to go! So its out and Im bleeding like a stuck pig but anything is better than the feeling I had on Mirena emotionally and physically.I hate you Mirena.Im even mad at my OB/GYN for talking me into this.I used to really trust him.NO MORE!I hope a smarter women than I reads this and decides not to get this horrible IUD.Its just not worth it! I know nothing is proven that Mirena caused all these problems but why do I feel so much better now that its gone.My vision is back to normal now :) Tweet
