You obviously don't believe the words of Jesus.  He never left.  There are some folks looking for his "return" in a physical body but he has been with us as spirit ever since his original visit.  His "return" was right after his physical execution.  If you don't believe me, sit down and have a chat with him.  You are an eternal spirit and so is he.

Matthew 28:20:
