Pain in Back of Head

Hi,

I have an area in the back of my head that is really hard.

If I get a headache, that will be mostly the source of my pain. Otherwise, it's more annoying and it bothers me. I am also have sinus issues and some other things, like dizziness, or pain in my head when I wake.

This area in back goes up and down, is about 2 inches long, and about 1/4 inch thick. I was told it was a tendon (or a ligament - I forget) by a doctor back in the states and I am in Laos right now.

It kind of 'clicks' if I push hard and rub my fingers over it in to the left and right. I've rubbed it many times, pushing hard with the edge of a spoon, a piece of wood, and rolled round items, like a dowel or small bottle on it, hoping to soften it, but it never seems to happen.

Also, some of my muscles are really tight such as my cheeks, forearms, and triceps.

Wondered if anyone has any insight.
