9 month update and dry eyes

Hello to all! I want to say once again that I LOVE this forum. This site is like a bridge over troubled waters and keeps me sane. Even though I don't respond regularly, i do read regularly.

I'm at 9 months post now and thought I'd update. I made it through the 6th month mark, which is supposed to be notoriously bad, without much of a hitch. I was feeling - not back to normal - but to a point where I felt like I could function pretty well. However, I was hit hard at the end of my 8 month period and had a long month. Difficulty breathing, chest pains, nausea, eye pain and limb pain. It was bad enough to send me into the doctors office again asking for tests. Some news - I was diagnosed with bronchial inflammation and put on advair to help. I also learned that severe dry eyes had caused both of my eyes to become infected - so if you are having eye discomfort please get it checked out. People who experienced dry eyes as a side effect - did this go away with time? How long?

It's over a year now since I had mire-no put in and I'm ready to be done with this. The last couple of weeks have been better, and here's hoping that the 1 year mark will be a turning point! Tweet
