Re: Egg Yolk and Liver Health

I think a lot of people with congested liver have 'fatty liver'

I did a lot of Liver Flushes and got tons of stuff out but my liver is still not working properly.

Totally agree with you that you shouldn't replace carbs with protein. I made that mistake and it was really bad in the long run. Turned it around recently and have more energy. I don't think anyone on the Liver Flush Forum would give you hard time, maybe the candida people would?

The fat thing, well I don't know, I eat a lot of fat and it helps with constipation and stabilizing everything.

Some people are able to convert fat or protein into useable fuel, not me, but some people definitely do it. Look at all the paleo dieters who are running marathons eating steaks and butter. I'd conk out at around 1/2 mile. With carbs I could do maybe 3 miles with a gun to my head. I think there is some sort of genetic component to how well people can adapt to fat as a fuel source

I'm curious too what your fatty liver treatment is.
