I think you were right earlier when you said that it didnt build up with the tape, because the tape was creating a barrier from the air. Or its possible that your scabs are just getting thinner.

Im not sure if you answered this before but do you have EC on the inside of your lips? And if so how deep into your lips and how has your inside been healing?
