Neck pain

Hello all, i am suffering from alot of neck pain. It is not really stiff, just pain, and alot of phlegm. The phlegm whether from my sinus or throat, is clear, but has a very stange taste. Sour metallic kind of taste. And i have a constant sinus headache.
ENT said he sees nothing there, so i am assuming it is the Fungal infection that i have been diagnosed with working its way to my head area. Can this get into your brain ?
And Yes, i have done the neti pot and xclear, with no affect.
