Re: Hair Loss AFTER Removal??? Please help!

Just a thought, since so many of us think it's the silicone in Mirena that is causing issues, have you considered using silicone-free shampoos and conditioners? I know it's hard to find good products without silicone (aka dimethicone), but might be worth a try? I've been using silicone/sulfate free shampoos and conditioners for the past couple months, and my scalp doesn't itch like it used to. I'm using Loreal EverSleek right now. Takes some getting used to, but I like it.


I was bummed that the Moroccan oil I was using was mostly silicone and had to quit using it. Here's an article about silicone overload on hair:
