Re: Day 1
"By mid-morning, I realized that I was going to be on my own, that I had to be with myself the whole day -again, psychological factors here-, and I experienced a moment of panic. But it passed and I said to myself, "Anfisa, you are on your own now, no hiding behind food any more"."
Hi Anfisa,
this is the precise, and perfect moment to use EFT.(The idea here is, to transform that recognition into an actual positive--a joyful strength, rather than a *gulp*.
And anytime you hit a 'glitch'. It will clear it away such that it won't be triggered later, and recirculated, or the next time it comes up, you won't react. *Don't think of it as weakening your own powers of resolve and will, but as assisting you in peeling away layers of 'triggers'.
"Even though...(fill in the blank with something like what you just articulated...)and then run the tapping sequence.
karate chop point
as you repeat the 'setup' phrase three times,
then,
crown of head,
eyebrow point
outer eye
under eye
under nose
chin,
thymus/collarbone area
under arm...
deep breath and release.
(I usually do both sides, using both hands, just because I like the symmetry, and find it soothing. But this is fun to think of--after you get used to the sequence, you don't even have to do it physically! It is enough to just think it,since directing your thought to the tapping points puts the energy there. No magic here, it's just physics. )
Repeat as desired, and until whatever number you start at -in terms of intensity- goes to zero.
That's the easy way.
It sounds like your inner guidance is working well, and your insight into patterns and habits is a big plus. It bodes well. EFT can only be a *good friend* to you.

PS remember, you can use EFT for any worries/anticipation/anxieties about the future also (or the past): about getting through the first three days, which are a big test for people. No need to suffer unduly! (In fact, you might even try it on "even though I keep hearing this is going to be hard...")Try it on everything, as the founder, Gary Craig always said.
One key I've found to be -well, key! in the whole process is to start watching your thoughts, not crazily, but with an open curiosity at what comes up, and the knowledge that You are not your thoughts. (most of us tend to situate ourselves sort of 'in our head', or somewhere thereabouts,
and think 'this is me'.)
This begins to become more and more clear, and is a huge unburdening, as the weight lifts. :-) So, for example, when a thought comes up, you'll be able to see the triggers and sensations that prompted it, just before, as well as prompting a reaction, just after, which is where we normally go on automatic pilot--and into comforts like distractions, of food...etc.
If you can increase your curiosity (which EFT can help with, by lifting the veils and heaviness of old patterns), it begins to truly feel like a joy to watch from your new perspective of a You that is a witness to patterns dissolving, working happily along with the
Water Fast working at all levels of the body. It's really pretty exciting--the potential coming into focus.
Hope that inspires. Keep up the great work!
