FYI

Berkey should not be using plastics.

Plastics are porous and cannot be truely sterilized.

I found this out the hard way when my water bottle kept having a grey fungus floating in it even after bleaching it, using H2O2 and scrubbing it every soap except borax. I did not try borax.
