Re: Hydrogen peroxide and Candida growth study

In fact, it is totally the opposite.
Candida can growth in both, anaerobic and aerobic environments. We are clear about it.
But, candida cells that develop hyphae in an ANAEROBIC medium, such as the colon, have the highest resistance to antifungal drugs. When these cells were treated in an AEROBIC medium, they didn't offer resistance to antifungals drugs.
This suggest the presence of oxygen reduces candida albicans capacity of developing resistance to antifungal substances.

It may explain why water enemas have given a tremendous result to those suffering a colonic fungal overgrowth. Water is rich in oxygen.
