Do you use electronic cigarette to quit smoking? (Edited by forum moderator)
Why we use electronic cigarette? Do you choose proper electronic cigarettes?
Electronic cigarettes are handy little devices that are getting quite a lot of attention. They have been around for some time now, but they were not always as practical to use as they are today. They have a number of appealing characteristics, such as the fact that they are infinitely more healthy than traditional cigarettes, that there are no secondary smoke concerns and that you can use them just about anywhere you like. One of their many advantages over the regular cigarettes is their price. While they are not too cheap to buy at first, the cost of the cartridges will make you save quite a bit of money in the long run. If you want to make use of this, however, you’ll need to take proper care of your electronic cigarette and make sure that it lasts as long as possible.
When you get your e cigarette pack you should first clean its individual parts. There might be some oil residue on them, and you should remove it with a lint free cloth or a paper towel. Make sure that you charge the battery for at least four hours, regardless of what the LED is indicating. This might significantly influence its future life span. Clean the battery contacts and the atomizer before first use.
If you notice that your cigarette is not producing sufficient vapor make sure that the battery is fully charged and that the atomizer is clean. If doing this doesn’t seem to resolve the issue try changing the cartridge, it might be empty or dysfunctional. If this doesn’t help it might be time for atomizer change, in time the filaments within atomizers burn out, this is to be expected.
You can clean the atomizer by submerging it in warm water and shaking it around. This should help get the sediment of it and should be done on regular basis if you want the atomizer to last longer. When you are inserting it back into the cigarette, make sure that it is completely dry and that you don’t get any water on the battery. This is also why you might consider taking the battery of when you’re not using your cigarette. Regardless of how well they are made, cartridges can sometimes leak, and if this liquid gets on your battery it might damage it.
You need to be aware of the fact that most electronic cigarettes have an auto turn off feature that doesn’t allow you to inhale and keep the atomizer active for more than seven seconds. Your cigarette will occasionally get warm to the touch, this is to be expected as the atomizer will transfer its heat to the rest of the device. If this persists or, if you notice that the device is getting overly warm, you should try to clean both the atomizer and the battery. If this doesn’t help you might need to change the atomizer. These are just some general guidelines for taking care of your electronic cigarette, basically treat it with care and it shouldn’t give you too much trouble.
