I Failed

Well I think I gave it a good run.

Been in terrible pain for many years, with the pain getting much worse about a year ago. I did 8 flushes since February and the pain never budged. In fact, it gradually got worse. Now it is unbearable.

Had a negative ultrasound a week ago.

Had a HIDA scan this week and my ejection fraction rate was 0%. My gallbladder isn't functioning at all. An hour after I got home from the HIDA scan, my GI doc called and told me to get to a surgeon. They made all the arrangements. I see him tomorrow.

I am really bummed. I tried to keep it but I lost. I truly feel like if it's not removed, I will die.

So disappointed and so scared. But keeping it and living this way is not an option. I'm not living. I'm just existing with lots of pain.
