Purely Devils Advocate here, but MH does say that pre 1950 authors make up the bulk of his learning and John Armstrongs "The Water Of Life" was published in 1945 and had details of everything from cancer to TB being cured by urine therapy along with case histories of 45 day fasts on nothing but...urine. hmmmm. Other books in the 1800's detail the use of urine therapy as a cure all and it is mentioned in the Indian Vedic literature as well. There is something to all this, but on the other hand, a Dr. Salisbury in the 1800's also cured thousands of patients on nothing but beef and water, and we know what nasty stuff meat does to a persons insides, so who knows???
