faith here seems to mean a desire to feel the Love of Christ/the input to life and the things it brings to satisfy it; if it has reached there, for, it might stay always a faith, a desire. In our age.

Ephesians 2, 19: and to know the love of christ which passeth knowledge that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

But we fear that we might be full, for we would not have more to be filled - we think we are going to be full too nice to live in sins.
