MLK on School

I have an MLK bumper sticker on my car -- the car I use to drive my kids to school. It reads:

School takes thirteen years because that's how long it takes to break a child's spirit. -- Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Whenever angrily queried about it, I point out MLK said it, and the attacker immediately switches the topic. It's a fun game.
