I don't think i ever used 432 Hz... I think i actually tuned up, maybe to 448... but have to go back and check my notes on that one. actually gets harder to play as the strings have more tension. In the past I have tuned way down... many blues songs are tuned down one half step... so each string is tuned down one note. gives a deeper more mellow sound... interesting stuff.
