Re: 40 days and 40 nights fasting
Hi JIL,
thanks for the well-wishes.
I did the (red) grapefruit juice and olive oil flush, which is I think about 1/2-3/4 cup cup of olive oil and the fresh squeezed juice of a couple of grapefruits. (2 or three).
I like it, because it's like a good, fruity salad dressing. The juice of a small lump of ginger added, (grated) or a piece of candied ginger, to suck on after drinking the mix can help with any nausea from the oil.
You mix this all up, just before you drink it, (which is at about 9 pm-ish), and then you go lie down in bed, and visualize stones leaving your liver without any problems. :-)
In my case, I felt the release of old emotional stuff; pain and wrong views. Sending love and forgiveness to the liver, and to all old, emotionally-loaded memories, and participants makes for a VERY GOOD FLUSH. I'm quite serious.
The first time, I did the
Epsom Salts , as well. They clear the stomach and bowels and dilate the hepatic duct. They can be very dehydrating, leaving people wiped out the next day--so be sure and have lots of water and/or vegetable and fruit juice during the day. It will go MUCH easier.
There's a protocol for this--the gist of it is to eat no fat on the day of the flush, and the bile collects--so that come the oil/grapefruit (or lemon) mixture) there is a good release, and with it, stones and gunk. I didn't always use the ES, but you might wish to go the ES route the first time. I had very good results. Apart for the dehydration (which you can easily avoid), it's quite a breeze.
To boost the stone-dissolving and moving power of the flush, you can drink a lot of apple juice (non-pasteurized, fresh pressed )during the week before. The malic acid in apples is what breaks down stones and thins sludge. This is the basis of the wisdom in "an apple a day...". Many people, after water fasting, sudden;y find they love the taste and feeling of apples. This is a sign the body's wisdom is being 're-set'. :-))
You can look this flush up on the
Liver Flush Forum , or curezone-google olive oil grapefruit flush. It's best to familiarize yourself with it beforehand, as we do with the water fast--through judicious reading. Avoid any doom and gloom fear-mongering stuff. It's quite safe, if done correctly. If you think liver congestion is a big issue for you, you might want to focus before doing the flush on juicing, with the apples, etc.
