Re: I want to buy a rife generator
Heres what I found out about accurracy of the vari gamma
the VariGamma is accurate to 1Hz. Mainly because when we constructed it, no
one felt it was necessary to do fractions of Hz. Now lately there have been
a few such requests because apparently some have concluded they want to
take very low frequencies with fractions of Hz. One thing you want to keep
in mind though is that most frequency generators are not very accurate in
the very low ranges as it is. Some may give you the impression of being
accurate to 0.1Hz but that might not always hold up when you check the
frequency on a frequency counter. In the higher frequency range, the
accuracy is less than 0.1Hz anyway. Most FGs have an accuracy of maybe 10
or 15ppm, which means that at 1MHz they may be 15Hz off, at 100,000Hz they
may be 1.5 Hz off and at 10,000 Hz they may still be 0.15 Hz off. So
frequencies that are more exact than 1 Hz only make sense for very low
frequencies. But then, as I stated above, it must be one that is
specifically geared to these low frequencies, because both frequency but
especially the wave shape are often very inaccurate for very low
frequencies below 50Hz.
If there is a lot of demand for these broken Hz frequencies, we could
incorporate it in a future version of the FG. It might take some changes on
the hardware side to make sure that the frequency at fractions of Hz are
really accurate and the wave shape is decent.
