Re: Man Moves Huge Blocks (Stonehenge/Pyramids?)

He is playing around with lego blocks.

The heaviest stone in stonehenge is 45 tons.

The heaviest stone in the great pyramid is 468 tons.

There is a world of difference when trying to use such techniques to move monoliths. Rocking a slab back and forth and sliding sticks underneath, for example, would only raise a monolith a tiny distance before it loses momentum from its own weight. With the exceptionally small increments of vertical movement, any piece of wood slid underneath would be smooshed.

Don't forget the trilithon- 3 blocks each weighing in excess of 1,000 tons
