Chelating for more than 3 days

Hi, I've been chelating with ALA alone for a few months and I would like to start doing it for longer periods than the usual 3 days and stop. I saw a post that said that cutler advises to not go over 2 weeks and not less then 3 days. Anyone has more info on continuous chelation?

On a side note, I never had any side effects related to chelation and I've lately been using 300mg every 3 hours.
